Practice and professional portfolios for teachers

As part of my role as a performance developer, I encourage practictioners to create a practice portfolio to demonstrate their achievements. The practice portfolio is very similar to a learner’s portfolio as it captures, learning, acheivements, and capabilities.

Over the last few years, I have been a bit tired with saying the same thing to different individuals and I have been looking for a simple way to share the message.  I think my own efforts would be best spend helping practictioners create portfolios, than tell them about them. To this end I have created a Slidecast to explain the concepts and give some suggestions for how a portfolio can be achieved.  I have used my own portfolio as an example.
