Better student success and retention with less controversy

As the request of the Head of Department of Accoutancy and Finance, Liz Rainsbury, I prepared a briefing paper to support a facilitated discussion.  The session was designed to encourage the staff to decide a plan of action for applying assessment and moderation policy and managing student issues.

I session invoked a great deal of conversation, sharing of ideas, and allowed staff to fully understand their current context.

A full action plan was prepared, and staff seemed satisfied that they had a plan to move forward.
